US Marshals looking for armed and dangerous fugitive

POCATELLO — The U.S. Marshals are searching for an armed and dangerous man involved in a shooting incident Saturday night.

At around 10 p.m. the U.S. Marshals were involved in car chase that resulted in a suspect’s vehicle crashing at the corner of North 6th Avenue and East Sublette Street in Pocatello.

Two males exited the vehicle and one of the men exchanged gunfire with U.S. Marshals, according to a Pocatello Police news release. The U.S. Marshals are not saying what happened to the man who exchanged shots with police.

The other man, Richard “Rocky” Iverson, fled eastbound on foot. Iverson is described as being around 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He has balding brown hair, brown eyes, and has tattoos on his neck, arms, and hands.

He is considered armed and dangerous. Police said no one should approach Iverson. If you spot him call 911 immediately.
